The world wide known RambachTM Agar was launched in 1989. It was the first commercially available chromogenic medium for Salmonella detection. Its simplicity of reading allowed such efficiency improvement in the Salmonella testing, that the chromogenic technology became unvoidable in the food industry. Since then, our R&D laboratory has pursued its efforts to develop new and ever more efficient chromogenic solutions for the detection of a variety of foodborne pathogens like Listeria,B.cereus, Enterobacteria etc.
